Bio

Alexandra Hennig Fife is excited to return to her alma mater to work with the University of South Carolina Bands. A horn player and Ohio native, Mrs. Fife received her Bachelor of Music degree from the University of South Carolina and her Master of Music degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music. Soon after receiving her Master's degree, Mrs. Fife began her professional music career with the Victoria Symphony Orchestra, where she held the position of second horn for two years.  Alexandra also had a small private horn studio and worked with the Austin Chamber Music Center as a contracted worker. Mrs. Fife received a certificate in Arts Management from the University of Massachusetts Amherst shortly before starting her position as Administrative Assistant to the USC Bands.

Alexandra looks forward to her first year as a School of Music employee as well as moonlighting as a horn player in Rock Hill Symphony Orchestra’s inaugural year. A fierce lover of animals, Mrs. Fife continues to volunteer with the Pug Rescue of Austin, where she adopted her dog, Fancy. Alexandra enjoys crocheting, cycling and relaxing with her husband and dog in her spare time.
