Connor Burney is the Administrative Assistant to University Bands. Mr. Burney is a native of Columbia and a 2015 graduate of USC Aiken with a Bachelor of Arts Fine Arts-music degree.

At the School of Music, Burney serves as assistant to the band faculty, preparing materials, schedules, registration for special projects, USC Band clinic, summer clinics and the Carolina Band camp. He coordinates band recruitment efforts, maintains the band membership file, and tracks enrollment of all band courses. He also works at the Koger Center for the Arts in dual employment as an assistant house manager. 

Burney is a Palmetto Center for the Arts high school magnet graduate, who has performed in various ensembles at USC Aiken and spent three years as a member of the world-class Spirit of Atlanta Drum and Bugle Corps. His professional affiliations include Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, Rotary International, and Columbia Opportunity Resource.
