Events
The College of Arts and Sciences is proud to host educational, cultural and social
events designed to engage with alumni. Learn, network and celebrate with us, whether
your graduation day was yesterday or 40 years ago!
Annual Special Events
You can see our main events calendar for general events or contact Alumni and External Relations with any questions.
Homecoming Parade
The annual Homecoming Parade brings together students, alumni, faculty, and staff
to share our Gamecock spirit in a procession through the streets of Columbia. The
Homecoming Parade is one of the university’s most spirited traditions.
Retired Faculty Barbeque
The College of Arts and Sciences invites retired faculty to return for the Annual
Retired Faculty Barbeque. Join former colleagues as you share wonderful memories of
your college days. The event is October 18, 5 - 7 p.m. at Gambrell Hall. Email [email protected] if you and a guest plan to attend.
Carolina Action Day
Join fellow Gamecocks as we become a sea of garnet and black at the State House as
a united advocate for Carolina. Sponsored by the USC Alumni Association, this event
is a unique opportunity for us to take an active role in increasing awareness on legislative
issues. Let’s stand together as a one voice on the important issues impacting the
College of Arts and Sciences and the Carolina community. Together, we can make a difference!
Graduation Celebration
Each year the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences and the Director of External
Relations are proud to recognize our graduating seniors at the USC Alumni Association
Graduation party.
