Scott has a passion for education. After receiving his B.S. in elementary education from NC State University, Scott began his USC journey by enrolling in the higher education and student affairs master’s program. Since completing his M.Ed., he has worked at USC to assist students academically through the Student Success Center and connect alumni across the nation at the Alumni Association. Now he looks forward to bringing his love for USC to the Honors College where he hopes to connect Gamecocks to their passions through philanthropic giving.

Outside of the office, Scott stays active with running, tennis and golf. He is a self-proclaimed nerd and refuses to miss any Marvel or superhero content. Scott also loves to volunteer for the Edenwood Sea Monkeys, a summer league swim team in West Columbia. Scott coached at Edenwood for six years and now helps out wherever he can. He is an avid Gamecock fan and enjoys attending baseball, football and basketball.
