Molinaroli College of Engineering and Computing

Energy Routing Lab

Description: The Energy Routing Laboratory specializes in networked control of microgrids and real-time modeling and simulation to support power experiments with dynamic system events compatible with power electronics converters switching at speeds in excess of 100kHz. The laboratory provides a network of modularized power electronic converter systems along with flexible embedded controller platforms. Together these allow for testing of microgrid energy routing control schemes both at the converter level and the systems level.
Area: Power electronic converters; Microgrids; Network distributed control; Electrical energy routing; Converter coordination; Power electronics control
