Monica oversees the College of Nursing development team charged with raising money for the college, specifically the dean's initiatives, while collaborating with Central Development and all colleges and units at the university. Previously, she worked at university athletics for four years before joining the college in 2012.

“What I like best about my job is the diversity of the role. Fundraising is the main job duty but working on several teams within the university family, the development team, college faculty and staff team keeps me moving. I enjoy getting to meet and develop relationships with the college donors and alumni,” says Monica. She enjoys spending time with family, volunteering for local organizations with rescue dogs and running.
