Professional Practice

Since 2009, Dr. Chappell has served as the lead nurse/NP and planning board member for Camp Wonder Hands, a Prisma Health camp for deaf and hard-of-hearing children.

Past clinical practice has included 9 years as a medical exam provider providing evaluations and care for children suspected to be victims of maltreatment, working with child advocacy centers in South Carolina as a provider in the SCAMMRS network; Pediatric Neurology; and Pediatric Intensive Care.
