Background

Meredith Williams joined the College of Hospitality, Retail and Sport Management as the alumni and advancement affairs coordinator in May 2024.

A graduate of Presbyterian College, Williams started her career in hospitality and merchandising working for Spoleto Festival USA and Wild Dunes Resort. In 2013, Williams relocated to Columbia, South Carolina. Over the past decade, her professional roles have involved account management, continuing education program development, facilitating events for corporate non-profit organizations, as well as bespoke floral design for individual clients. In her former position with the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce, Williams was responsible for executing signature events, spotlighting investors, and bringing business leaders together to make an impact.

Williams lives in Columbia with her husband and two boys. She is a member of Junior League of Columbia and enjoys tennis, travel, live music, volunteering at her children’s schools, Gamecock athletics and creating art. Her passion for art has allowed her to be an art blossoms exhibitor at the Columbia Museum of Art.
