Jessica Harris attended Winthrop University where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in theatre. Harris began her career with the university in 2007 and worked in Undergraduate Admissions and Graduate Admissions before moving to Sport and Entertainment Management in 2013. She received the College of HRSM Staff Member of the Year award for 2019-2020.

Harris manages class schedules, course overrides, travel and purchasing, as well as other executive duties for the department. She serves as the department liaison to the Registrar, Bursar, and other departments on campus. She is always willing to help out HRSM students and get them the answers they need.

Harris lives in Lexington with her husband, Mike, and their daughters, Gracelyn and Adley. She enjoys crafting, listening to all types of music and anything dealing with Elvis or Disney!
