Bio

GC Ramey is a PhD student majoring in American History. His research seeks to uncover the hidden histories of the South, specifically focusing on the forgotten or ignored contributions of marginalized individuals and communities within the American whiskey industry.

He currently holds an MA in English Literature and has worked as an English Instructor at both the community college and four-year university levels, most recently teaching English 101 and 102 at the University of South Carolina.
