Education: BA in History, minor in Art History from Arizona State University (2023)

Bio:

Kathryn is a second year Masters student in the Public History program researching the intersections of caregiving, race, health, and the female body in the 20th century US South. Currently, Kathryn is focused on the evolution of midwifery and gynecology in South Carolina  as it pertains to racial disparities in healthcare.

Previously, Kathryn has completed internships at the Marietta Cobb Museum of Art and the Center for Civil Rights History and Research here at the University of South Carolina. She has been published in multiple digital humanities projects as well as an undergraduate journal.
