Bio

Until his retirement in June 2006, Ken Clements regularly taught courses in American diplomatic history (at both the undergraduate and graduate level), general American history, and Canadian history.  In addition to about 40 articles on various aspects of American history, he also published The Life of Herbert Hoover: Imperfect Visionary, 1918-1928 (2010); Woodrow Wilson (co-authored with Eric A. Cheezum) in the American Presidents Reference Series (2003); Hoover, Conservation, and Consumertism: Engineering the Good Life (2000); The Presidency of Woodrow Wilson (1992); Woodrow Wilson, World Statesman(1987; revised ed. 1999; electronic ed. 2014); William Jennings Bryan, Missionary Isolationist (1982); James F. Byrnes and the Origins of the Cold War (editor, 1982).
