Bio:

Greyson is a PhD student focusing in US History and his primary research interests lie in the American Civil War. His research focuses on the psychological toll of the war on the everyday soldiers that fought on the front lines. He looks at their personal letters to try and decipher what they were feeling and what made them keep fighting even when times seemed bleak. Greyson is also interested in the wider social and political atmospheres of the war and how the war shaped the nation we know today as the United States.

Greyson has worked at multiple historic sites such as the Danville Museum of Fine Arts and History as well as Manassas National Battlefield Park. He had also worked on digital projects for the Nau Center for Civil War History at the University of Virginia.
